Orange County YEOer Designs Website for Charity Organization
Axis - Young Entrepreneurs Monthly Magazine - May 2001 Issue - When Netaid.org, the online charity organization, wanted to address the alarming spread of HIV and AIDS in the developing world, it needed help in launching a global awareness program.
Time magazine stepped up as media partner, Palm volunteered as a technology supplier, and Orange County YEOer Jason Reid, donated his website- development services to design and build a site specifically for the Netaid program, Titled “Breaking the Silence.”
“We’re extremely proud to be partners with Time and Palm in support of Netaid.” Says Reid, owner and CEO of Codeit Computing, based in Santa Ana, California. “It makes sense to those of us who work with Internet technologies to get involved with groups like Netaid, which has done so much to empower people to take action against poverty on a global scale.”
